Anna Kendrick has revealed that she was terrified while working with George Clooney on the set of his 2009 drama In the air, until he told her it was “insecure.”

“And I said, ‘Yes, I do, George, I do.’ I get totally nervous. I feel totally insecure,’” she continued. “And he was doing all this like, ‘I worry.’ Did they even hire the right person?’”

“Maybe that’s something he had to deal with early in his career, but it was a great gift for him to say that because he felt like, ‘Oh, okay, I can bring my anxiety into the moment and someone is going to hold space for me.’ that. and don’t worry about it.’ It really, really calmed me down.
