Delta Force will deal with cheaters within 24 hours and fully compensate the victim

There is no way to escape cheaters in online shooting games. Call of Duty, Counter-Strike, Fortnite, and Valorant are full of people using hacks, and like a cheating hydra, no matter how many heads you cut off, more hackers will quickly grow back. However, that doesn’t mean that developers shouldn’t take cheaters incredibly seriously. That’s why Team Jade, the studio behind Battlefield and Tarkov’s rival Delta Forceis already making big promises about how it will tackle the problem, just days before launch.

To start, Team Jade is updating the cheat detection system in Delta Force. Not only can you expect better defenses and dynamic anti-cheat at launch, but the studio promises that “cheaters reported through our GTI Security website will be dealt with within 24 hours.” This is a big promise from Team Jade, but one that has been spent a lot of time leading up to the global launch of the open beta.

As for GTI security, Team Jade says it has collaborated with Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE) for the game’s security and has established a “dedicated task force against cheating and other breaches.” This means that players caught cheating, collaborating with hackers, and even dueling can be punished with bans of varying length and severity.

If you are the victim of a cheater in Delta Force, don’t worry, as Team Jade has finally outlined the shooter’s compensation system. When a cheater forces you to lose helmets, armor, backpacks, weapons or ammunition, Team Jade will return all of these items to you. That means a cheater won’t make your situation worse, while GTI’s anti-cheat system will automatically verify the hacker’s actions and punish them.

Team Jade adds that this is “version one” of their compensation system, and that the team will “try to improve it further with player feedback.”
