The Bermuda judge ordered the jury to find Jamaican Maurice Martin not guilty of conspiracy to import a controlled drug.

KINGSTON, Jamaica (CMC) – Local police arrested a Trinidad and Tobago national wanted by United States prosecutors for firearms trafficking.

Police report that Shem Alexander was arrested earlier this month at Norman Manley International Airport based on an extradition request from the United States government.

When he appeared before a Corporate Area court, he consented in writing to be extradited to the United States to stand trial.

He is wanted by the United States for leading a transnational criminal organization that acquired firearms, ammunition and firearms accessories for export from Florida to Trinidad and Tobago.

Alexander is the CEO of Gateway International Athletics.

He is a former footballer from Trinidad and Tobago.
