Heaney and a fourth man, Leon McGlinchey, 31, were driving two cars nearby and all four have been arrested.

McGlinchey, of Moyola Avenue in Castledawson, appeared in court on Friday charged with 11 offences, including driving while unfit, dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, three counts of failing to provide a breath sample and driving without insurance. no license. , theft of coat and phone, criminal damage and obstruction of police.

He was also denied bail and remained in custody until December 23.
