Steelers defensive starter ready to play despite injury |

PITTSBURGH— Steelers defensive tackle Keeanu Benton is set to go after dealing with a hip injury that slowed him down during the week. Benton was limited in practice Thursday because of the sudden onset of the injury, but returned to practice fully on Friday and said he is ready for Sunday’s Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Steelers will need Benton as a nose tackle partner Montravio Adams He is still out this week, despite returning to practice after returning from a knee injury.

Benton had just returned from a left knee suffered against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. He left that game late in the second half and did not return. Benton was limited in the week leading up to the Week 12 game against the Cleveland Browns, but was able to put in a near-full workload. He played in 28 defensive snaps, recording one tackle and one quarterback hit.
